Today's lecture covered the social aspect to digital learning. It is possibly one of the most vital things to consider when learning about digital learning and the importance of this in schools. Students are all to familiar with social media and communicating over social media hubs such as Facebook or twitter. The understanding of some of the deep underlying concepts involved in these outlets is often overlooked or never touched upon. Students post without realizing the consequences of there actions both positive and negative online, import images and upload information that could result in turmoil. As future teachers, it is so important to understand this is now apart of our society online and encourage the proper teaching of these ideas, when sharing, commenting and communicating online.
